The visit aimed to foster unity, strengthen collaboration, and enhance the association’s impact in the region.
The Mende United Association Sierra Leone (MUA-SL) Coordinating Team Visits Yibema Dama Chapter – 5th March 2025 On 5th March 2025, the coordinating team of the Mende United Association Sierra Leone (MUA-SL) visited the Yibema Dama Chapter to hold a meeting with its executive members. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration, discuss key developments, and address important matters concerning the chapter and the association as a whole.
MUA-SL National Coordinator and National P.R.O Visit Nanyahun Gboyiama Chapter Kailahun District Executives On August 3, 2024, the Mende United Association - Sierra Leone (MUA-SL) National Coordinator and National Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) visited the Nanyahun Gboyiama Chapter Kailakhun District Executives. The purpose of the visit was to engage with local leadership and facilitate the proper structuring of the executive body.

Support for Education:

 

Provide scholarships, learning materials, and mentorship programs to support students in the community. Partner with educational institutions and organizations to enhance access to quality education for all, regardless of gender or socioeconomic status. Promote literacy programs and vocational training to equip the youth with practical skills for self-reliance.

Agricultural Development:

 

Promote sustainable farming practices through training and the provision of resources to Mende farmers. Facilitate access to local and international markets for agricultural produce to improve the livelihoods of farmers.

Encourage the adoption of modern farming techniques and climate-smart agriculture to ensure food security.

Women's Empowerment:


Advocate for women’s rights and create platforms for their active participation in leadership, decision-making, and community development.

Support women through skill development programs, microfinance opportunities, and capacity-building initiatives to enhance their economic independence.

Promote gender equality by addressing barriers to women’s education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Aquaculture Advancement:

 

Encourage the development of fish farming and other aquaculture initiatives to strengthen food security and foster economic growth.

Provide technical support, training, and resources to ensure efficient and sustainable aquaculture practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to create opportunities for investment in the aquaculture sector.
